Kunzea ericoides - Kanuka

Kunzea ericoides is found throughout New Zealand. It is a primary nursery species that often establishes in conjunction with Manuka. Over a period of years it will gradually make way for long lasting forest species such as podocarps and beeches. It has small narrow dark green leaves, with small white flowers that appear in abundance during the summer. Very hardy tolerating drought, frosts and poor soils. Perfect for revegetation.
