The Variegated Chain of Hearts is a beautiful statement plant and a must have for every indoor plant enthusiast. These tropical vines put out showy chains of pink, white, and green variegated, heart-shaped leaves on vines that can grow up to 13 feet long. Vines can even produce small pink trumpet-shaped flowers all spring and summer to complement the pink and green foliage.
Our Variegated Chain of Hearts are quintuple planted and come in a 13cm hanging pot with a clip in saucer. Or in a 12cm nursery pot with a shaped climber, these are our larger grade plants so prices differ.
Watering- This semi-succulent prefers to be on the drier side, so ensure you let the soil completely dry out between watering. Rule of thumb, only water 1-2 times a month depending on the time of the year.
Feeding- Variegated Chain of Hearts don't require huge amounts of fertiliser. A liquid fertiliser once a month in the growing season is all this plant requires.
Lighting- The right type and amount of light exposure is key to achieving the rich pink color variegation for this string of hearts foliage. It can withstand some direct sunlight, but too much results in scorched foliage. Not enough light causes the foliage to revert to fully green leaves.
