Monstera Adansonii ‘Swiss Cheese’

$20.00

The Swiss Cheese plant (Monstera adansonii) gets its common name from its large, heart shapes leaves that develop holes as the plant ages (in a process called fenestration). This makes the leaves resemble Swiss cheese. Swiss cheese plants are vigorous climbers, with aerial roots growing downward from the stem, which brace against the ground or any available support.

Our Swiss Cheese are triple planted and come in a 13cm hanging pot with a clip in saucer.

Watering- Ensure you let the soil dry out at least 50% when watering in the Summer (watering every 1-2 weeks). Let the soil dry out completely in the Winter (watering every 2-3 weeks).

Feeding- A liquid fertiliser once a month in the growing season is all the feed this plant requires.

Lighting- They will thrive in bright, indirect sunlight. It can also survive lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight as this can burn the leaves.
